    Christian Counseling Degree Completion Program

    Bachelor of Science in Christian Counseling

    The FOCUS Degree Completion program in Christian counseling allows you to complete your degree in less than two years by attending class one night a week on our St. Paul campus or at satellite locations in the Minneapolis St. Paul area.

    The Christian counseling program provides a strong biblical and theoretical foundation for a counseling ministry, primarily in churches and parachurch settings. Address a wide range of issues faced within the church and in other counseling settings, using skills based upon biblical principles and relevant theory.

    Our graduates have gone on to professional and academic opportunities such as:

    • Church conflict resolution
    • Personal counseling
    • Spiritual counseling
    • Graduate study

    The details

    Including your previously earned college credits, the Bachelor of Science in Christian Counseling is granted upon completion of 125 credits in core curriculum, major requirements, and electives. A minimum of 30 credits must be earned at Northwestern College; half your upper level coursework must be earned at Northwestern.

    Courses are offered primarily on site at our St. Paul, Minnesota campus, or at other Twin Cities satellite venues.
