Eligibility
Students should have an intermediate level of proficiency on their instrument with ability to play all major scales. Rhythm section players (bass, guitar, piano and drums) should know basic chords.
Emphasis
The main focus of the class will be small group jazz with an emphasis on traditional methods of blues improvisation, including phrasing of melody and accompaniment.
