How can the ALPHA Center help me?

Writing Tutoring
The ALPHA Center offers one-on-one sessions for help with paper content, structure, and editing. Tutors are here to help students at any stage in the writing process, from brainstorming for ideas, to organizing, to fine-tuning. Writing tutoring is also available in the following areas:

• ESL tutoring
• Structuring of Papers
• Incorporation of Sources
• Advanced grammar
• Editing Competency Exam preparation and remediation

Subject Tutoring
Tutoring is also offered for other subjects either by appointment or on a drop-in basis at specified times during the week. During the academic school year, the ALPHA Center offers subject tutoring in math, accounting, science, statistics for psychology, Spanish, Greek, and a few other subjects depending on the need for them. Testing Facilitation
Test proctoring is offered to current students for quizzes or exams missed in class, correspondence exams, and the Editing Competency Exam.
