Russ Reynolds is currently the CEO and a principal of Batteries Plus, LLC. Russ has been the CEO at Batteries Plus for the past 9 years, and the company has grown dramatically during this period. Batteries Plus is a retailer that provides over 40,000 types of batteries to consumers and commercial users. Batteries Plus currently operates 400 stores in the U.S. and opens approximately one store per week. Prior to his time at Batteries Plus, Russ worked for Pacific Dunlop, a publicly traded diversified conglomerate. During his 13 years at Pacific Dunlop, Russ ran consumer and industrial battery businesses in Asia and the U.S., and ultimately was responsible for a global battery business with annual revenues exceeding $1 billion (Gould National Battery). Russ started his career with Target stores where he worked in store operations, district operations and the company’s headquarters for several years.

Russ holds a B.A. from Bethel University (‘84), an MBA from the University of Minnesota (‘86), and completed the Leadership Development Program through the University of Melbourne in Australia (‘95). He has also been involved in a number of board and advisory positions with organizations including: Fast Signs International (BOD), Pet Valu Canada (BOD), International Institute for Franchise Education – Huizenga Business School at Nova Southeastern University (BOD), Greater Atlanta Christian School (Leadership Cabinet), New Covenant Creations Ministry (OC), and Flood Student Ministries (OC).

Russ and his family live in Atlanta, Georgia. He and Lisa have four children (Nicole, Kylie, Matt and Ty) and are actively involved in North Point Community Church (Andy Stanley). The Reynolds family is also involved at Greater Atlanta Christian School where their children attend school and where Russ is involved in the school’s athletic programs. Russ accepted Christ at a church retreat as a youth and through the strong foundation of his Christian parents, family and friends has continued to place his faith in Jesus Christ as the primary pillar in his professional and personal life.
