Director of Human Resources

Timothy A. Rich, PHR

Tim Rich serves as Director of Human Resources at Northwestern. He has 24 years of Human Resources experience, both in the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Prior to Northwestern, Rich was at the University of Minnesota where he served as director of human resources providing HR support to a department of 2,500+ employees. His experience also includes HR leadership at Fingerhut Corporation as well as Northwest Airlines.

Rich has also served in a variety of lay leadership roles in the local church. He holds a B.A. in Interpersonal Communications from the University Wisconsin-Eau Claire and has done graduate work at the University of Minnesota in the area of Human Resources and leadership development.

Rich and his wife Marcia have been married for 25 years and have three sons. They currently live in Lino Lakes, Minn.
