Athletic Training

Associate of Science

The Athletic Training Education Program at Northwest College is designed to help students begin their journey toward becoming a Board Certified Athletic Trainer. In cooperation with local orthopedic groups and regional colleges and universities, NWC provides two years of education toward a Bachelor's or Master's in Athletic Training.

At NWC, students are able to get hands on experience in a supervised and professional atmosphere, starting from the first day of classes. Due to its small size, this program is great for highly motivated students as well as those students needing extra attention.

Upon completion of an Associate of Science degree, students can transfer directly into many regional colleges and universities to continue and progress into a nationally accredited Athletic Training Education Program. Students are encouraged to find the entry requirements of a program of interest in order to tailor their classes to fit their needs.
