Education Program

Student Comments

Northwest College's classes are small and most classes are within two blocks of each other. Professors are accessible and approachable. University of Wyoming Outreach is available.

Northwest College has a great location, with the mountains and Yellowstone Park within a 1-1/2 hours' drive. I like that you can get your Bachelor's degree in Education right here in Powell.

Some of the things I like about NWC are Project Succeed, free tutoring, free valuable workshops, benefits for non-traditional students, and the Children's Learning & Care Center, which is available to student parents. Teachers are easy to talk to and want to prepare you to succeed. Knowing about the WEA Association helps a lot when you want to become an educator.

I love the great foundation in Educational Psychology, and the opportunities to observe in the classroom. Northwest College offers small classes and loads of interaction.

This is a friendly campus in a great location. The college provides a lot of activities for students to join in and participate. Faculty is always willing to help students and make time to meet with them.

Great, helpful faculty; small, enjoyable community, and small, very social campus. Residence halls are great to live in, with lots of activities and chances to make friends. The staff is very encouraging and helpful. NWC offers all the necessary courses to fit students' needs. It has been great for me so far! The Sophomore Practicum class is a wonderful experience!

I like the location of Northwest College, the residence halls and social events. I like the small classes and interaction with the teachers.

We have a great residential life program, lots of computer labs, lots of opportunities to be active on campus, lots of practical time in the classroom.
