Three-night class on Basic Excel offered in Worland beginning Oct. 1

POWELL, Wyo. - A noncredit Basic Excel class begins Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Northwest College Worland Center, located in the Worland Community Center Complex. The class meets from 6-8:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Oct. 1, 8 and 15.

Instructor Jack Stott, business manager for Washakie County School District No. 1, will cover the basic concepts, as well as some intermediate ones in using Excel 2007. Students will learn business applications, how to create meaningful personal projects and how to analyze data. The class also covers the find, replace, delete and sort function, as well as tables and formulas.

The $79 cost for the class includes a comprehensive manual.
