The Northwest College Trapper Booster Club will conduct its first Trapper Sports Tailgate
Party Saturday, Sept. 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the Park County Fairground's Multi-purpose Building.

In an evening designed for the entire family, Trapper fans will get to meet the coaches and their teams, go head to head with NWC athletes and each other in sports challenges, feast on traditional tailgate food and vie for NFL memorabilia during a live auction.

Tailgaters are encouraged to show their team spirit by wearing the colors or logo of their favorite sports team and watching or participating in basketball free-throw challenges and volleyball serving contests. Those who aren't interested in participating are invited to cheerlead or coach from the sidelines.

A live auction conducted later in the evening features Denver Bronco tickets, Baltimore Ravens regalia, fly fishing gear and a "2-4-the Road" travel package to accompany one of the Trapper teams on a road trip.

This is all in addition to the Chris Cooley jersey (Cooley is a Powell native who currently plays for the Washington Redskins). Additional items will be put up for bid in a silent auction.

Admission is $20 for adults or $30 for couples, and $10 for children age 5-16. To reserve a spot, e-mail Robbi Welch or call 307-754-6034.
