P O W E L L,  W y o. - With the busy quarter in full swing for most businesses, a QuickBooks 2007 class might be just what the accountant ordered. It's Certified Public Accountant Joe Asay to the rescue.

Asay will teach a beginning QuickBooks class from 6-9 p.m. on four Monday/Thursday evenings, from Dec. 1-11.

Aimed at those who have just purchased and/or begun using QuickBooks, the class covers the fundamentals of the QuickBooks software program, including customer and vendor transactions, banking and creating a company file. Asay said the class provides lots of hands-on training so students become comfortable with the software and concepts before completing the class. Experience using Windows XP is preferred.

Cost is $125 per person and includes a comprehensive manual. The class meets in the Northwest College Worland Center, located in the Worland Community Center Complex at 1200 Culbertson Ave.

Early sign-ups are encouraged because class size is limited.
