P O W E L L, W y o. - There'll be plenty of toe tapping and finger snapping when the Northwest College Studio Singers present their annual concert of American popular song standards Thursday and Friday, March 29 and 30. Both concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Nelson Performing Arts Center Auditorium in Powell.

The program for both nights includes familiar tunes like "When I fall in Love," "Can't Help Lovin' That Man" and "Fly Me to the Moon." The all-star list of composers contributing to the evening features names like Cole Porter, George Gerschwin, Miles Davis and John Coltrane.

The repertoire also spotlights an original piece by Katie Robichaud of Powell, who wrote and will perform "La Nicotine."

The Studio Singers are directed by Mike Masterson, NWC professor of music and chair of the Visual and Performing Arts Division.

Admission is free.
