POWELL, Wyo. - The Northwest College Enactus Team will collect canned food from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Blair’s and Mr. D’s groceries in Powell.

All contributions of food and cash will go to Powell Loaves and Fishes.

“We collected over 5,000 cans of food last year through the Powell schools,” NWC student Katie Rockvam, said, “but we felt it was time to take this out to the larger community. This is an easy way for Saturday shoppers to help the hungry in our own community.”

The NWC Enactus Team is conducting the food drive as part of its participation in the Campbell’s Let’s CAN Hunger Project.

Enactus is a community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better more sustainable world. This network brings together the knowledge of professional business educators and the expertise of business leaders to focus the potential of university students preparing for leadership roles in business.
