November Lunch Series covers social media marketing in Powell and Cody

POWELL, Wyo. - Powell High School Dean of Students James Kapptie will talk about the importance of social media marketing at the Tuesday and Thursday, Nov. 16 and 18, Lunch Series in Cody and Powell.

Kapptie will cover the benefits and strategies of creating viral content on sites like Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, MySpace, Delicious and more.

The one-hour program gets underway in both communities at noon, with networking opportunities starting at 11:45 a.m.

The Cody session meets Tuesday, Nov. 16, in Room 2206 of the NWC Cody Center, located in the Park County Complex. In Powell, the group convenes Thursday, Nov. 18, in the Center for Training and Development on the Northwest College West Campus.

Cost is $7 per person, which includes both the program and a lunch. Seats must be reserved at least one day prior to the event.

Advance registration is required by noon Monday, Nov. 15, for the Cody session and by Wednesday, Nov. 17, for the Powell session.
