P O W E L L, W y o. - Because turning over inventory is key to managing a successful business, the Northwest College Center for Training and Development in Powell is offering a Thursday, May 10, seminar to help area businesses learn ways to keep their inventory in motion.

Titled "You've Got to Move It, Move It - Flipping Inventory," the two-hour seminar begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Center. Lunch is provided.

Danel LaRose of Cody is the featured speaker. She'll help participants make an honest evaluation of the layout of their stores with an eye to marketing for more effective product turnover. She'll also offer new and fresh ideas for selling products.

"Small businesses should make $200 per square foot per year," LaRose said. "If area business owners aren't getting the turnover to meet that equation, I think we can give them some ideas that will result in big improvements.

LaRose worked three years in the hospitality industry before becoming an employee development administrator for the world's largest hotel representation service. She's developed and taught more than 20 different employee and management classes and is CEO of LaRose, LLC and LaRose Business Works.

"You've Got to Move It, Move It - Flipping Inventory" is sponsored by the NWC Center for Training and Development in Powell, Wyoming Small Business Development Center, U.S. Small Business Administration, Wyoming Business Council and the University of Wyoming.

Admission is $25 per person. E-mail Stacy Gilman or call (307) 754-6062.
