POWELL, Wyo. ─ The Northwest Master Chorale will perform in a 7:30 p.m. concert Sunday, Dec. 7, at Cody’s United Methodist Church, located at 1405 Beck Ave.

“We look forward to sharing an evening of music with the people of the Big Horn Basin,” said Anissa Bree, the group’s director. “It should be a fun evening of spirituals, gospel and traditional chamber music. We’ve invited a few members from children’s choirs around the Big Horn Basin to join us on a song.”

An NWC alumnae and Cody Middle School vocal instructor, Bree said the groups are made up of members from Basin, Byron, Cody and Powell. They’ll perform selected works from Bach, Vaughn-Williams and Pachelbel, among others. Accompaniment is provided by Karen Bree.

The chorale began rehearsals in September for this year’s concert. Bree invites anyone interested in joining the group to contact her at 307-899-2003.

Admission is free and open to the public.
