International photo exhibit featuring work by Powell photographer on display through Oct. 22 at NWC

P O W E L L,  W y o. - The Photo Imaging Education Association's (PIEA) Traveling Photo Exhibit will stop in Powell at Northwest College's SinClair Gallery through Wednesday, Oct. 22.

The PIEA exhibit features the top student and faculty photographs from around the world as judged in the association's annual competition. Nearly, 6,500 images were submitted from 121 schools in nine countries. The winning photos will travel to over 60 venues in Australia, South Africa, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as part of a three-year international tour.

Craig Satterlee, an associate professor of photography at NWC, won the large competition's grand prize portfolio category. One of his portfolio images, titled "Silent Moment," is displayed as part of the exhibit.

His photo and 66 other top photos from the contest can be viewed from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday in SinClair Gallery, located in the Orendorff Building on the NWC campus.

Admission is free.
