Computer and art classes offered in February at Worland Center

POWELL, Wyoming — Excel classes, computer basics and watercolor instruction are all on the February lineup at the Northwest College Worland Center.

Valerie Bjorhus will teach a Microsoft Excel 2013 Basics Plus class Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Feb. 2 and 4. This course is designed for those who’ve already taken Excel Basics or would like a refresher before moving up to an intermediate class.  The class costs $60 and requires the Excel Basics manual, which can be purchased at the NWC Worland Center for $38.

Bjorhus will follow up with an intermediate Excel class the next week to cover advanced formatting, multiple worksheets and workbooks, advanced charting and much more. The class meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Feb. 9 and 11. Cost is $99 and also includes a manual.

Kaitlyn Miller will introduce computer hardware, software, operating systems, windows functions and Microsoft basics in a Computer Basics class offered Monday evenings Feb. 29-March 21. The class is designed as a starting point for any computer user or aspiring user.

Carolyn Wostenberg’s popular watercolor series continues each Thursday evening in February, focusing this time on value, perspective and center of interest. Cost is $50
