POWELL, Wyo. - The Northwest College Cody Center for Training and Development is offering 13 community education classes to kick start the 2013 year.

The classes meet between Jan. 5-15 and cover an eclectic range of topics from iPads to tomatoes.

The course list includes four master gardening classes that look at landscape and garden design, container gardening, growing herbs and growing tomatoes.

Two of the intersession classes are just for women—personal finance and basic home repair. The others cover Internet security, iPads, water kefir, genealogy, needlepoint, jewelry and journaling.

Twelve of the classes meet just once and range in price from $10-$30. Participants who enroll in more than one class receive a $5 discount for each additional class.

The Northwest College CTD partnered with Cody’s Pinnacle Bank, Ace Hardware and Needlework Paradise to create three of the classes.
