Business Jump Start gets going Monday, March 10, in Lovell

POWELL, Wyo. - Area residents who have an idea for starting a business and those who are already in business can get personal help developing or improving their business plans with Business Jump Start, beginning Monday, March 10.

This intensive three-session class is designed to help participants understand the dynamics that support business growth and greater profitability. The interactive program provides participants practical instruction, tools and strategies to structure for success in business.

It meets from 6-9 p.m. Monday and Friday, March 10 and 14, and from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at the Lovell Incubator, 142 East Third St.

Sessions follow a building-block approach to starting or growing a business. Topics include an orientation, business intelligence, structure, operations, marketing, finance, customer service, human resources and launching a business.

Experts from across the region serve as teachers and advisers, helping participants through each step as they develop and refine their individual business plans.

Cost is $99, but reduced to $50 for multiple enrollees from the same company.
