Activities Board

Do you have ideas, drive, and passion?  Were you involved in high school activities and want to continue that involvement in college? Or do you want to see what you missed if you weren't involved in high school?

Come talk with us about putting your energy into action through the Student Activities Board!

Who?

Board members are students who are paid for their work in the Activities/Intramurals Office (volunteers are always welcome, too).

What?

The Board works with the Student Activities Coordinator to create entertainment and recreational programming for the campus community. Join other students who are energetic, imaginative and creative to do things like:

  • Be a referee for intramural sports
  • Learn about graphic design and get some experience with it
  • Build your office, people and leadership skills
  • Interact with students to decide how Student Activities fees are spent (decide which comedians, musicians, etc. to bring to campus)

Why?

It's the sweetest job on campus, you get to meet lots of other students, and explore the bounds of your creativity, plus it makes a valuable addition to your resume.

How?

Start by letting the student activities coordinator know you're interested. You'll get an invitation to go to the Activities/Intramurals Office to talk about yourself and the ideas you could bring to the board.
