Small Scale Public Art: Selected Works from the College's Collection

October 16 – November 17, 2017

Since the early 1980's, the Northwest College Board of Trustees has purchased art from student fine art and photography exhibitions. Those purchases make up the core of the College's permanent collection.  The Art Department also holds a collection of work purchased from, or gifted by students, alumni, and visiting artists. In addition, the Northwest College Foundation receives donations of art.

Works from these collections are displayed across the Powell campus, the Cody Center, the Nelson House, the Intercultural House, and the A. L. Mickelson Field Station.

This exhibition highlights small scale public art from the collections.

Reception for the exhibition 4:30 to 6:00 pm, Tuesday 24, October. A brief history of the collections will be presented with a Q & A opportunity. Northwest Gallery, Cabre Building. Free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available.
