Northwestern announces record undergraduate enrollment
Oct. 7–In an exciting week that included the groundbreaking for the Billy Graham Community Life Commons and the celebration of 60 years of media ministry, Northwestern College announced a record traditional undergraduate enrollment of 1,858 students for the fall semester. Included in this number are 439 new freshmen and 109 students transferring from other institutions. The previous high enrollment for Northwestern was 1,846 in 2008.
The record year marks the culmination of months of hard work, as well as prayer, on the part of the admissions staff, led by Director of Admissions Ken Faffler. “We see students making decisions for Northwestern because the unique combination of strong academics taught within a solid biblical framework,“ Faffler commented.
Northwestern’s official total enrollment for the fall is anticipated to land at 3,060, pending the finalization of Graduate & Continuing Education figures in mid-October.
