Christian Counseling

We live in challenging times and there are many issues that confront individuals and families. People struggle with addictions, job transitions and loss. You can use your God-given gifts to provide help to those in need. Northwestern offers two program levels in Christian counseling to provide a foundation for many counseling careers. You’ll be able to apply your strengths for listening and understanding while learning to integrate counseling theories and techniques with biblical principles.

Talk to an admission counselor about the best option based on your plans and circumstances.

Christian Counseling Programs
A bachelor's degree in Christian Counseling gives you a strong academic foundation for a counseling ministry in a church or parachurch setting. Your eyes will be opened to the power of God in your profession, learning to minister to people in pain through the compassion of Christ.   A Christian Counseling Certificate from FOCUS provides you with a biblical and theoretical foundation for personal enrichment or professional development.
