At Northwestern College, you’ll be a part of an inviting community that welcomes and understands the homeschool experience. Nearly 10% of our student body graduated from high school as a homeschooled student, so you’ll fit right in!

Transcripts
Northwestern prefers a high school transcript that lists your completed courses by date and the grades earned in each course. A final high school transcript with a graduation date and the signature of your adult supervisor is required.

Academic Reference
This form must be completed by someone other than your parents and the person completing the spiritual reference. You can use adults from your homeschool cooperative, church, work, etc.

Entrance Exams
The database that we use is the ACT, so we prefer to receive your ACT test scores. But we will accept the SAT I. However, the SAT I does not give us the percentiles we need to meet scholarship needs.

Scholarships for Homeschool Students
Scholarships are awarded based upon GPA, class rank and ACT. Since class rank is not available for you, the ACT is doubly important as it lists a national percentile that we use.

Making Northwestern affordable is our #1 priority. Our Financial Aid team is dedicated to finding all available resources for you, turning the college you want into the college you can afford.

Taking the next step
