T. Robin Riley
Associate Professor of Electronic Media
Robin Riley is a nationally recognized scholar in religious cinema and media studies. He has taught over two decades in a wide range of areas--media aesthetics, ethics, visual communication, production and mass media. Currently Robin teaches production courses in television and film as well as broadcast newswriting.
Robin's artisitc work focuses on historical documentary in the area of spiritual and religious topics, and he is currently in the final stages of producing Utopia On the Rio Grande. He has also authored a book entitled Film, Faith and Cultural Conflict. Robin is a long-standing member of the Broadcast Education Association where he has served as chair of the Production, Aesthetics and Criticism Division.
