SPE1075 FOUNDATIONS OF COMMUNICATIONS (SPEECH) - INDEPENDENT STUDY

An introductory study and analysis of basic principles of effective communication with emphasis on public address, interpersonal, and group communication. Class activities provide opportunities to develop skills in speech preparation and delivery, interpersonal, and group communication. Students must have access to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, the Internet, and a video camera.
