Why Northwestern?
Location location location. I love our campus. I wanted to attend a school with an old campus feel, something that had some history to it. Besides the beautiful architecture, there’s lakes, woods, trails and the island.
Involvements
Rended Hearts worship, Varsity Men’s Chorus, Northwestern College Theatre Department, Admissions Ambassador, Improv workshop.
Favorite class
Beginning Acting with Doc Rainbow
Best NWC missions/service experience
Painting sewer drains to save the earth. Go, go freshman orientation!
Best place on campus
I think this is going to be a three way tie between Nazareth Chapel, The Island, and the big oak trees by the old entrance near Lydia and Snelling. Four way tie…in the shade of a certain maple tree that overlooks the main lawn by the library.
“I’ll never forget…”(most memorable experience)
Acting in Into The Woods on Maranatha Stage, the communion service my Drama in Ministry class held out on the island at the end of my freshman year, and every Monday night worshiping with Rended Hearts in the Youderian Lounge.
“To me, NWC means…”
A community of people doing life together; a community that is not perfect but has one major thing in common.
After graduation…
((((the real world)))) preparations, auditions, callbacks, failure, learning (yes, still), success, adventure…the rest of the road.
